Sony MDR-Z1R for sale. Headphones themselves are mint as far as I can tell. Display case corners have a tiny bit of wear if you look for it. Great fun pair of headphones that are easy to drive. Price is shipping and PP fees included.

I got the Z1Rs and the clears within a few days of each other this week and having trouble taking off the clears.

I am finding these are putting pressure on the back of my jaws. This will suck if these become uncomfortable. edit - That's funny I put my 6xx's on and they feel 10x more clampy. I think because the clears push a bit more on the bottom than the top and the 6xxs are an even pressure.

Just received mine from the headphones .com sale. Wow these are special. I thought I was going to be disappointed in the bass department having the MDR-Z1Rs as well but these have a lot of bass. Very happy about that. I got a huge grin right after putting them on. These really sparkle.

Just discovered the 6xx and really love them. I've been an IEM guy mostly but working at home for a year I decided to give something else a shot and glad I did. Now have a MDR-Z1R on the way now to see how those do me :)

I just picked up a pair. So far they are more balanced and mid centric than the Sony's. Bass is fine as long as there is a seal. Not elevated really but not low either. There is air but not anywhere near as pronounced as the Sony's. For people on here, I think its a good thing they have...

I just started noticing it after the update lol! What phone do you have? I think its my iphone because I never had this happen with my old phone in my car and as soon as I got the iphone I noticed it.

I hate to compare anything with Andromeda's because they are so special and I would recommend to anyone to own a pair just to see what the hype is about. The sony's have a tune that I prefer even if the SQ isn't better overall. The andromedas don't have enough bass for me to be totally happy...

Very happy with mine after a week. No desire to go to my wired IEMs. Might even sell them off of this keeps up. These sound so good. Have a little discomfort on the left ear with my spinfit cp100s but I will keep trying tips. No sound drop outs on the Iphone X. I used to have that happen...

2nd time after wearing these for longer than usual sessions at the the office moisture got in them and distorted the sound on one side. They dried out in a few hours but now I am going to be paranoid. Thinking of moving to the Sony M9's. Seeing they are a darker more bassy version of Andros...
