Are recessed usually a safer and sturdier choice?

I believe it means the armature itself is vented and does not require a bore. I may be wrong :)

It's not past 12 o'clock on my 1 watt klipsch heritage or magni uber 2. It is significantly lighter without wood and usual head band. It's super comfy and form fitting. Excellent build, only had to adjust every few hours.

Right now, I am listening to random Star Wars sound tracks using the new klipsch heritage amp. The sound stage, detail, and separation are blowing me away. Things that come to mind are fluidity and gooeyness. Treble is just right and bass is quick, deep and hits low rumbles. It definitely suits...

They also have the felt rings that the lcd 4 had to prevent stress on the membranes from pressure changes.

Yeah, i was directing my comment at the guy who paid 150 for the audeze cable and then complained about it compared to the elex.Those look really good! I'll have to check out that store for future cables.

They worked well on the audeze hooks actually made them usable

For those of you looking for a new cable and comfort fix... I have a potential solution. I ordered this on eBay and didn't realize it came with ear hook things. I think I can glue them on for a better fix...

How do these preform with rap/hip hop/ dubstep? Can anyone compare to lcd2?

They sound great and have amazing sound stage for in ear. They are a good value compared to the isine. They don't leak very much sound, but quality is affected by surrounding noise. Great for walking, but not for busy bus rides. But i use them everywhere because open planar magnetic. Hope that helps
