Comment by 'Nathanl' in item 'Monolith M1060C Closed Back Planar Headphones'
I just received my headset, and guess what! Only the right side works!. Will have to return it. A few things about the headset, it does not isolate sound, it is similar to the fostex x00 where it is semi open. It leaks a lot of sound. It appears to have some dampening material in the cups, and...- Nathanl

Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread
It's not past 12 o'clock on my 1 watt klipsch heritage or magni uber 2. It is significantly lighter without wood and usual head band. It's super comfy and form fitting. Excellent build, only had to adjust every few hours.- Nathanl

Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread
Right now, I am listening to random Star Wars sound tracks using the new klipsch heritage amp. The sound stage, detail, and separation are blowing me away. Things that come to mind are fluidity and gooeyness. Treble is just right and bass is quick, deep and hits low rumbles. It definitely suits...- Nathanl

Magni/Modi/HD-650 next upgrade?
So I'm getting an emu teak and lcd2c next month and kinda wanna upgrade from my modi magni uber. I'm think about either the fostex hpa4 bl,dx7 or the aune x7s paired with my modi. I really like the idea of balances. Any thoughts or opinions....- Nathanl

Monolith M300 In Ear Planar Earphones
They sound great and have amazing sound stage for in ear. They are a good value compared to the isine. They don't leak very much sound, but quality is affected by surrounding noise. Great for walking, but not for busy bus rides. But i use them everywhere because open planar magnetic. Hope that helps- Nathanl

Acoustic Research AR-H1 Planar Impressions and Discussion thread
Right now, I am using a schiit stack 2uber and modi 2 and I expect it brightens everything I use. My concern is the warranty for the AR is 1 year while Audeze is 3 for the driver. The frequency range on the AR is impressive, and it looks great. Just not a lot of solid recommendations since it is...- Nathanl
