Drop 6xx pads on HD650?
Yes, they fit. If you want to play it safe, stick with genuine Sennheiser. Otherwise try the drop or Dekoni offerings. -

Dude, breathe and pull it together a bit. I don’t know much about the tech side of this thread, but to me, you’ve already invalidated yourself. Aside from being an ass, “high res” doesn’t mean high frequency ... resolution refers to quality, yet you posted a video testing pitch perception...- BubbleWrap86

Denon ah-d600 review.
While I wholeheartedly agree that these are pretty amazing, proper EQ can work wonders. I just recently quit being such a prude about DSP after trying Oratory1990's EQ settings for few of my phones and was very impressed by the change. I'm just not skilled enough at this point to produce results...- BubbleWrap86

JVC HA-SZ2000/1000 Impressions Thread
So I recently came upon a project, a thoroughly used and seemingly under appreciated SZ2000. They are still in transit, so I’ve yet to actually see a pair in person. The pads need to be replaced and I could use the help of your collective wisdom on that topic. I’m wondering why oval pads seem to...- BubbleWrap86

Fiio X5 3rd gen || 2x AKM 4490 || Balanced Out || DSD || DXD | DTS | Android || Dual Card Slot
Yes, the difference is noticeable. And to clarify, I now have a set of matching cables, only differing in termination. First, there’s very minor increase in background hiss with my shockwaves. I only noticed it in a silent environment during rather quiet sections. It’s not enough to detract from...- BubbleWrap86

Fiio X5 3rd gen || 2x AKM 4490 || Balanced Out || DSD || DXD | DTS | Android || Dual Card Slot
Edit: never mind, the issue was the hifihear cable I got from amazon. The male connector isn’t quite to spec, it’s a bit too thin. Shame, it looks lovely. So I recently got an X5iii and had my first experience with a balanced 2.5mm out. Does the connection between the male and female 2.5mm...- BubbleWrap86

Knowledge Zenith (KZ) impressions thread
I placed my order on the third of October. At the time that I placed the order, the site showed that it would ship the next day from their warehouse. The order displayed "processing" for six days, then "packed" for another two or three days, before finally showing that it had been shipped. I...- BubbleWrap86

CHIFI LOVE Thread-A never ending IEM-Heaphones-DAP-Dongles Sound Value Quest
I'd really appreciate a few recommendations for some good IEMs with detachable cables, between $35 and $100. I run Mr. Speakers Mad Dog Pros for heavy listening at home and ATH-M50X when I can't be plugged into the amp. I'm really pleased with those sound profiles. I need something for a more...- BubbleWrap86
