I don't suppose anyone has any experience with the monolith 560?

Aight, it looks like the HE400s is the best option at the minute, what are the best amps around for around £100-£150 to pair with that, I like the look of Schiit's Magni 2 at a first glance, would I be better off getting a dac + amp or a combo or would just an amp be enough for those headphones?

So between the two (HE400S + amp / DT800 + Amp), which do you think would be the best combination in terms of sound quality? And side note: would it be beneficial to get a dac/amp combo or just an amp?

Do you have experience with the neo? And also you mentioned the hifiman he400s, i'm thinking of getting an amp and those at the minute, does adding an amp make a difference to those? And how would that compare to beyer dt880 with the same amp?

Does anyone have any opinions on the MSR7 by Audio Technica?

Also what impedance version is best of the 880s?

Okay so based on stuff people have said here, my options in the price range I'm after are: - Meze Neo - HE400s - DT880 - AKG Q701 Does one of these look like a clear choice to you guys?

Is there a discernible difference in sound between the neo and the classic? If so is the classic worth the premium of £50? Also what's the reputation of AKG's lineup like around here?

Yeah the 400S are quite well regarded around here from what I've read so i'll take a look at those, the 650's are a bit out of my price range sitting at 300 at the minute from amazon otherwise i'd have almost definitely gone for those. How are the AKG lineup regarded, i'm looking at the Q701 in...
