AK300 or Opus #3? (Alternatively AK70 Mk II, and Mk I or Opus #1?)
Anyone? No thoughts at all? I know they're older models, but I'm sure someone has some opinions? There was a review of the Opus #3 having a lot of UI issues... So I felt concerned- asegier

AK300 or Opus #3? (Alternatively AK70 Mk II, and Mk I or Opus #1?)
Dear All, I am relatively new to DAPs and currently use a AK Jr. But I find the interface to be really slow and the unit freezes on me from time to time being really unreliable. As I've never had another DAP before, and I was thinking of upgrading, looking locally there are 3 units secondhand...- asegier

Absolute best budget earbuds?
Oh damn, I didn't even notice that. All I saw was that it was inside the Portable Headphones, Earphone and IEM's category and I just saw "best budget" haha. You, sir, are completely correct.- asegier

Absolute best budget earbuds?
No worries :P it's technically still relevant to the topic. I think it's not expensive at all, so definitely worth giving a shot. Make sure to get the upgrade cable as well :) . I don't think it has a high treble issue, IMO. Or at least I was OK with it.- asegier

Holy. That is really bad. I didn't expect that, given so many people with good responses. The reviews are all really good... I wonder how that happened for you. Which models did you buy?- asegier

Not so sure myself. But it's what one of the members have stated. I purchased 3 KZ ZST's. I've only opened one. Will let you know when I open the other two.- asegier

Custom Ear Molds for IEMs
I had one similar to putty as well. I didn't need to heat it. What you did was combine two pieces of different coloured putty. When they are combined they start to harden. So you split off a piece and mold it to your IEMs. It didn't really work out so well for me (although the fit was...- asegier

That is quite interesting. Thanks for the info. Although looking back I'm not sure if it was a polarity issue, I'm pretty sure I put it on the correct way. Cause when I put them on, I checked the positions, and I remember the first time I put it on wrong, so I had to double back and re-plug...- asegier

Absolute best budget earbuds?
It depends on what you want I think. Personally I am loving the KZ ZST. But if you want a bigger or a name brand, I'd go for any of the older Klipsch's. They can sell for a pretty low price for their older models. Or if you can find old UE models too.- asegier

I just purchased the KZ ZST. I originally tried it with the original cable with Mic. I didn't really like the sound. It was just a bit off for me, but afterwards I changed it to the KZ upgrade Silver plated cable and it was much much better. I now really love the sound signature. It's not...- asegier
