I don’t have a Mojo so I cant comment on that. I can say, however, that I personally am enjoying the EVO with the RU6 a lot. You are correct that the EVO comes across a bit meatier in combination with the RU6. I’m addicted to the sound signature of the two together. YMMV.

I have never had it cut out, even during 3 hour listening sessions or longer through an iPhone 12 Pro to the RU6 to Etymotic EVO IEMs with a balanced SuperBaX cable from the 4.4mm jack. My volume level is usually around 36 to 39 with this setup.

I have a balanced SuperBaX I bought for my UE customs and agree it sounds amazing with the Etymotic EVO. In fact, it’s my new favorite combo in conjunction with my PAW6K.

I’m not sure it would work but you could try Apple’s USB 3 to lightning camera adapter -> USB to lighting connector cable -> APM. I’m not sure it would work but it gets you lightning connector to lightning connector. I’m not home right now so I can’t try it.

It happened with the older gray triple flanges. I think the sleeve would get stretched at the nozzle over time and eventually loosen. The newer translucent ones haven’t come off on me yet.

Always a chance you could get a dud. Mine have always worked fine. The only issue I have had is occasionally having the triple flange tips come off deep in my ear canal and having to use tweezers to get them out. Not fun! Right now though, I am really enjoying the 3DT more. I am pretty addicted...

I removed the wire on mine as well. It makes a huge difference. On your recommendation, however, I have a replacement cable on the way. I prefer a 4.4mm balanced termination due to my DAP’s anyway. Can’t wait to get the new cables.

Thanks for the comparison. I’m excited to hear them after they arrive Monday. I’d love to know the cables you received as well since the consensus seems to be that the 3dt cable could stand an upgrade. I’m currently using an Oriveti Affinity 4.4mm cable with the Xelento.

I notice you have the Xelento in your gear list. I have them as well and also have the UM 3dt on order (weather has delayed delivery until Monday). Care to give a quick comparison of the two? The Xelento has a bit too elevated low mids for me sometimes.

Mine is absolutely legit and does not look like that.

I have verified that the Lotoo cable works with the PAW 6000 and iPhone as well.
