JH Audio Lola Impressions and Discussions
Update: The Naos had some issues related to volume and overload so I exchanged it for another one. Now that one works fine with volume etc except my headphone cable wont stay in it so I am just going to return in. I switched over to the QP1R and I have been pretty happy with the synergy. I went...- lemontoo

JH Audio Lola Impressions and Discussions
I have been using my custom lola's for a little over a month now, around 15 hours a week, so I think I'm still in the break-in period. Overall I really like the sound but I do wish it had a little more thump/slam/punch. I am using them with the Moon Audio Black Dragon connected to a Ultrasone...- lemontoo

thank you so much Leo. Thats exactly the opinion I was looking for. I've been using the black dragon for 3 years now with the 846's and it made a world of difference. Now the only question is the bronze even better ? ;)- lemontoo

JH Audio Lola Impressions and Discussions
Bump for the Lola thread! Just ordered custom Lolas and trying to decide which moon audio cable to pair them with. I currently have the black dragon with the shure se846 so I was leaning towards that but was curious about the bronze and even the silver. I kinda want all 3 but not looking to...- lemontoo

Review: Questyle Audio QP1R - With Multiple Headphone and IEM Pairings
Where are the deadheads on here? Grateful Dead May 1977: Get Shown the Light Box set sounds unreal on the QP1R. All live concerts should sound this great!- lemontoo

Review: Questyle Audio QP1R - With Multiple Headphone and IEM Pairings
can you elaborate on why ? I have been questioning whether I am better off at 41+ on volume on low gain or going to medium at a lower volume- lemontoo

Review: Questyle Audio QP1R - With Multiple Headphone and IEM Pairings
The solution that would satisfy both Questyle and current QP1R owners would be to offer the updated device for close to cost. This way Questyle wouldn't have to take anything back and current owners can keep their devices or sell them and buy one of the updated ones. I think this is fair all...- lemontoo

Review: Questyle Audio QP1R - With Multiple Headphone and IEM Pairings
I really had no major issue with the wheel knowing down the line a 2nd generation would be available with a whole list of upgrades. However, this quiet update clearly was done to address the flawed wheel. Maybe I am wrong here, but I just feel like this could have been communicated better to...- lemontoo

Review: Questyle Audio QP1R - With Multiple Headphone and IEM Pairings
Why did Questyle choose to only update the wheel and some internal components but not change the model name or even add a V2? This whole thing seems like an odd decision. Why not just upgrade the entire unit and make a legit 2nd generation model? Why the rush now to address the wheel?- lemontoo

Review: Questyle Audio QP1R - With Multiple Headphone and IEM Pairings
I generally do not let it go below 75-80% or I feel like it might shutoff during use. I don't find it a huge deal to charge it every couple of days. The wheel isnt great either but I really don't care. Bottom line is, if this thing sounds as good as the $4000 AK380 then I'll deal with the...- lemontoo

Review: Questyle Audio QP1R - With Multiple Headphone and IEM Pairings
I am using the Shure blues for now. I listen to mostly Grateful Dead sbd's (The 77 Betty Boards sound unreal) and Phish Aud's (FOB Schoeps) and it seems like a good balance. I would consider the Knowles but I really don't want to get too involved in modifications. If I could buy it already...- lemontoo

Review: Questyle Audio QP1R - With Multiple Headphone and IEM Pairings
yes it does. I just recently received a cable from BTG Audio with the Via blue connector to go with my 846's but I sent it back for a right angle instead. I didn't like how the cable stuck out off the QP1R (I commute everyday to NYC so I like my gear to be as incognito as possible). and I...- lemontoo
