As a weird update since I received mine this week: I have to use two USB C cables to ensure this stays on. Even though the "charge" switch is set to On (allows the V2 to charge while using USB-C through the data port), it won't stay on longer than a minute if only one cable is in. Very odd.

No worries. I have had this issue with every single one of my beyerdynamic headphones so I'm willing to give it a shot. I wonder if the magnet you used is similar to just a normal magnet.
