I'm definitely more likely to end up with a Sash product than another Verum. But I do appreciate the creativity used in the design of the Verum 2. It won't be hard to tell from any other headphone that's for sure.

The 2ft x 4ft x 1in version of THESE cellulose acoustic tiles are only 2lbs (2in thick panels are 4lbs). Cover it with some material and use a thin board as a backing and you'll have a nice break from the heat and sound.

Great song! It was one I was thinking but I didn't want to add too many in my first post. I have so many for "ride" but I'm gonna wait until Tuesday or early Wednesday to drop more.

They really are a good looking set, honestly one of the coolest design for headphones I've seen in a good bit. I've been watching these for a while, but I've decided to pass on them. I owned the Verum 1 from the first Kickstarter, and while they were pretty cool looking as well, they were not...

Oh yeah, I always go balanced when I can. Just switching from the SE to balanced out on your Hiby R3 II triples your power, giving you all the headroom you need for those Atens. Some R3 II specs:

I love Hart Audio Cables. I just ordered a custom 2pin/4.4mm cable for my FATFreq Scarlet Minis and it was only $90 shipped. I'm looking forward to it, and hoping my custom order color choices aren't :poop::poop:, lol.

The Deals DISCUSSION Thread (READ THE FIRST POST!!!)

I did as well. Mine was delivered on the 2nd and I'm receiving an email 25 days later saying they just sent it out. For a minute I thought maybe they were sending out a second case, but I guess I'm not that lucky, lol.

Your Eros S goes real well with the Scarlets. Better aesthetically than the purple of the Cadmus. But that Cadmus is still an awesome looking cable.

I'm glad I use Stardock's Start 11. No worries about silly :poop: that Microsoft does with their Start menu.

No problem homie 🤘. Glad some of us got to snag such a good case on the cheap. It almost looks like it was made for your Senns, if only it didn't have the cutouts for the yoke rods on the Audezes. Unfortunately I had to cut the foam in the center to fit my M1060C's so the case probably won't be...

That is a damn good looking cable. I've got a quote request in at Hart Audio for a custom cable for the Scarlets with a cool color combo. The Scarlets are my best fitting IEMs too. Well, other than the little IMR Dawns, which is a 5mm single driver super tiny IEM. But the Scarlets fit the...

    Monoprice Monolith AMT Headphones

I agree with @Fibre101 here in that the AMT's are light in the sub bass, it's one of the reasons I sold my set not long after getting them. And I also agree that planars are able to go much lower and hit much harder than the AMT's. I tried using both physical and sofware based EQ and before the...

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

I didn't buy an Enigma so I don't really have any skin in this game, but I kind of disagree with you here. I feel like it's almost a slap in the face to those IMR customers that paid a hefty price for their Enigmas and waited through all the bull:poop: stories, only to have Bob slash the prices...

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

I ended up preferring the open on all the IMR's I've owned that have had the option. I also prefer open back headphones so maybe that has something to do with it?

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

I'm not sure what Bob's intended sound profiles were for the open and closed back options, but what I heard was similar to what @Zeppmeister said. When open I hear a more spacious and clear presentation that I enjoy, with a slight decrease in the lows. So I just EQ a bit of lows back and I get...

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

I heard the differences between open and closed on my R1 Zenith, and my Opus Mias as well when I had them. So maybe the Enigma open is more than snake oil.

I'm curious as well. If you do some resistance testing, post up your results. I'm glad you're digging the Scarlets. They really do take some juice. I have to go to 90 on my M11, which is higher than any of my other IEMs. Totally worth it though.

@jerick70 So, now that you've had 5 minutes with them, what is your initial take on the Scarlets? Lol

It really is a good looking cable and the color matches the Melodys perfectly.

That sucks bro. You could go to Harbor Freight and grab a set of THESE picks. I'm sure one could help to get the remaining piece out and save you some time and money.

Wow, $9 for that cable is crazy good. Can't go wrong at that price.

The cable? It's nice and pliable, doesn't have a bunch of memory from being wound up in a case, and sounds exactly the same as the red upgrade cable that comes with the FATFreq Scarlets. But that stock cable is stiff and less usable imo.
