these are wireless, includes Bose Active Noice REDUCTION, etc etc. But what caught my eye is that they have dual Knowles balanced armature drivers. My jaws kind of dropped seeing this. And all this for 130... Anyone else thought the same? I mean historically anything with more than one...

I recently bought a high quality CD player and have been listening to recordings through my ER-4P. WOw is all I have to say, I've always enjoyed these in the past 5 years I've had them! I've tried several other IEMs, but keep on going back to these.

For that price, I'd get a balanced armature driven IEM instead of typical muddy neodyn.driven IEM.

Thanks for the response. I think it's all hype about the RE0s. I'm a traditionalist. For example, the last time I was active on this forum, Monster didn't make IEMs, they only made $100 HDMI cables. Knowing the kind of business Monster is in, I would never buy any of their IEM, doesn't matter...

How can RE0 even com close to a balanced armature IEM? regardless of brand.   I vote for the UE

Want to start this dedicated thread to this classic and still the standard in IEM. What a great piece after all these years, SQ is still unmatched to this day!          

I have a pair of ER-4P, so looking for something with more bass. I don't want to spend $500, but $300 is fine, so I'm looking at the Shure SE425s. In comparing with the 535 the curve is almost exactly the same except for 535 has more low end response- makes sense due to the extra low end driver...

There are great deals on the bay, but I don't see them discussed much here anymore. People still like them?

Which one do you guys recommend. I'm pretty sure the ety has better over all SQ-by a lot. But the reason i haven't ordered the HF5 yet is because of the microphonics. I have the ER-4P and the microphonics is horrendus when walking!   What do you guys think?

wow, With what UE charges, I'm really surprised it's only worth 34M! But no other surprise here; they way UE has been pushing their products and their general strategy, a buy out from a big-name brander was going to happen.
