[FiiO M17] Dual ES9038PRO, dual THXAAA-788+, dual power supplies, 9200mAh battery, 2 volume control modes
I find the 300max to have slightly aggressive HF, not the mids. I used to have the SP2000Cu as well, that‘s a tad warmer than either 300max or M17.- Telacap99

[FiiO M17] Dual ES9038PRO, dual THXAAA-788+, dual power supplies, 9200mAh battery, 2 volume control modes
So far I have ran through 5 batteries with my M17 so far and just to share my experience so far. Before the M17, the 300max has been my go to player and I also have DX300, R01, E01, E02 and A02 with C9. I have to say as good as the 300max already is, I am very impressed with the M17 so far, the...- Telacap99

New Inear Prophile-8
Today finally got the chance to listen to the PP8, was trying to decide between the PP8 vs Noble's new encore. Well I picked the PP8 at the end, the sound of the PP8 to me is more musical, natural and slightly warm in signature. I don't think it is dead neutral, but the sound is lush yet...- Telacap99

New JH Audio flagship! "Siren Series Roxanne"
Just got my Roxanne performance series, am surprised the sound tuning is vastly different between the 2, the performance series got lusher mids, slightly richer and closer vocals, highs r better controlled. Bass seems tighter but probably lower in quantity when compared at the same settings...- Telacap99

Campfire Audio Vega (and Dorado and Lyra II) - Head-Fi TV
The Vega might not suit ur taste thats fine, but the Kaede or Saukra + ( which I happen to own ), I can name more than a few serious flaws abt them, unreasonably low efficiency for an iem, peaky treble thats full of sibilant even when using comply foam. Hollow and sucked out midrange, the bass...- Telacap99

Well after running in the unit for close to 24hours, the bass seems to be a bit more punchy than I would like with the Vega, but have to run pass the 100 hours to see...- Telacap99

SONY NW-WM1Z / WM1A
Just picked up my 1Z a few hours ago, so far a lovely piece of gold brick, using drive the Campfire Vega and Lyra 2, the Sony seems to have have ample power to drive them really well. Looking forward to use it to drive more iems. Interface speed wise, I hope the scrolling speed can be improved...- Telacap99

Campfire Audio Vega (and Dorado and Lyra II) - Head-Fi TV
Yes I do for a week, well as always the law of diminishing returns will kick in at some point. I do love the sound of the Vega v much, and actually quite happy to find the Lyra 2 to be initially quite comparable to the Vega, but ofcourse too early to draw conclusions.- Telacap99
