One question I have is about the Schiit Jotunheim R - I know they are essentially functional with the 1200 but is it simply a matter of getting the male/female XLR adapter? Or does it have to be a specialty adapter to ensure everything is in the proper phase?

The grey cups don’t feel like cheap plastic either. It’s solid feeling and has an almost ceramic like finish to it. I guess between the V2 and from what I’ve read about the Ananda and Sundara, HiFiMan is stepping up a little in the build department.
