What would be the best firmware (if anyone knows) for EE Phantoms via 4.4? I like fun sound, but love detail and soundstage too. Used to have 1a years ago and thinking of picking up again. Other iem’s I use are Massdrop EE Zeus XIV , Kumitate Lab Trio, ie800.

I am reading through this thread (only on page 63 so far) and am very interested in this dap. How is synergy with EE Phantoms? Concerned it won’t be great. Anyone use the Phantom with the M8 and can give me thoughts?

Today’s portable set up. Pono Player balanced out to Kumitate Lab Trio. I forget how good the Pono sounds via balanced out. An oldie, but goodie.

Oh, and I know that BT ANC Cans will not have the best SQ, but looking at best/better sounding for BT ANC cans, with comfort and decent to good ANC for flights.

Sorry for crappy Pic, Cowon Plenue 2 > Thor 8 wire bespoke > EE Phantom. My portable rig for Comic Con San Diego today. P2 not burned in at all, less than an hour, but still sounds fantastic!

Just picked one up. Always wanted to try Cowon. Arriving tomorrow. Know it is older, but at $480, minus another $50 (gift card) thought it was a no brainer at that price.

My ultra portable rig for today on my flight from JFK to LAX

Above rig: Lotoo Paw Pico > Ares II cable > Heir Audio 3.Ai. Went through many bluetooth headphones connected to my old iPhone 6, but too many drop outs while working out and killed 2 headphones due to sweat.. Broke out my old trusty Paw Pico.. Sounds much better than my Bluetooth rig.
