A comfortable snug to me -- ear pads are generously sized -- clamp keeps them from sliding around my head without squeezing too hard.

These are perfect headphones for relaxing in bed listening to music -- which is what I'm doing right now. :D Straight out of a MacBook Air M1 headphone jack -- so easy to drive, pleasant, non-fatiguing sound.

Awwww…. I liked these so much better than the X2 - those were too big for my small head, and these have a more delicate sound I like.

It might be because of head shape, but the HD 700 absolutely do not squeeze my head at all, and I find them just as comfortable as my HD 800S and HD 8XX.

I’m excited for you! I think you will find them different from the headphones you have — though I must admit I’ve never heard the V2’s as I only have the Arya Stealth. Definitely looking forward to your assessment. 🤓

Oh, there are definitely differences, particularly since the LCD-2 has the fazor waveguides and the LCD-2C does not. The LCD-2 is to my ears unquestionably technically superior but some people like the more relaxed tuning of the 2C.
