definitely m100 or even crossfade wireless.

Depending on the genre of music you listen to, for example i own the 598's and listen to mostly electronic and hip hop. 598's are NOT the headphones for me. Even after bass boost from my amp, it was still lacking. But if you listen to classic or something then these cans are a beast.

If the m100s are anything like my m80's then they'll have tight punchy bass with a fun energetic sound. the mids are in fact recessed though just a little.

Why do you suggest the X2? The reason I ask is because I own the 598's and do not really like their sound signature. Not enough bass for me. After a lot of researching I decided I was going to get the X2's because I read that they have really good bass for an open headphone, while the 598's bass...
