I'd go Sennheiser for this. IMO the best setup would be modmic + headphones, but the Sennheiser G4ME series is pretty solid.   The G4ME One is the open-back version. Sound bleeds a lot but the soundstage is a bit better. IMO you should get the G4ME Zero (closed-back) if you ever plan on going...

Comfort is extremely subjective (obviously).   The K7xx might be the most comfortable pair of cans you'll ever put on your head. You never know.
