The only issue I have had with my XB90's is the fit, I have micro-ears though as I am a small guy, but the smallest included tips fit and it now is pretty comfortable, although a bit fatiguing, and the bass was so strong it gave me headaches. Luckily it doesn't do that anymore, but these IEM's...

It appears the Imp is just a better C3, The sound signature I am looking for is more highlighted mids and highs for the EDM I listen too. So does the Imp meet these requirements? I would pair it with a Fiio A3 and Sony XB90EX's

I am getting tempted to buy the Imp now...over the C3...

Finally got my hands on the Sony xb90ex and I love them, although I may not be driving them to their full potential (iPhone 5c + Brainwavz Ap001) they are great! I have noticed, even with my short burn in period (12 Hours) the mids really show themselves.

I think I will get the xduoo x3, seems like something I can build off of.

Well, I may be able to increase my budget for it, but then I would use my iPhone 5c as my sap, and I am not sure how the whole, lightning jack to USB thing would work. I also asked on a different forum page about the Fiio A3, as it seems powerful enough to drive the xb90ex but they said it was...

Do you think the xduoo x3 would combo well with a NX1? Or is it powerful enough on its own to run the xb90ex?

XB90EX's are bass heavy monsters, and while they sound amazing, I have been told using an amp helps it out a lot.

Well remember, the budget is dap AND an amp. But the xDuoo X3 is something I will keep in the back of my mind.

I should probably mention my budget for dap + amp is around $100-$130 ish so I was eyeing the C3. I usually listen to edm and electronic (Glitch Mob, Uppermost, etc.) Cause I am a rebelious stupid teen.

But do you think it will combo well with the xb90ex and an e11k due to it's SQ? Also I am a real basshead and it seems that the C3 is lacking in that area.

So here is my C3 situation...I don't know if I should get it! XD I plan to combo my xb90ex's with the C3 and a E11k, but from what I have heard, the UI just can't compare to the X1...but I found the C3 for only $65 USD, which is great for my wallet.
