I apparently hit the lottery.  Ordered from AWD for $142 on 12/22, set was "packaging may be damaged" no mention of cosmetic issues.  Box = WOOX, no glue, and all appearance match WOOX, so I must have gotten a legit (pre-Gibson) pair.

Fair point. They no longer carry the 400, which I thought is significant.  Honestly, I can't find any reputable sellers still stocking the HE-400. (I don't count 3rd party Amazon)  Anyone remember the retail price for HE-400? (they have $499, which matches HE-400i) I'll agree the screw-on...
