For $3200 I can upgrade my Milo to reference and for a little less, get the V281. I would only keep one as the Milo would be sold if I get the V281.

I don’t have the V281. I am debating on upgrading my Milo or buying the limited V281. Any insights or recommendations on them? How does their sound differ?

Awesome! My unit predates the reference edition and was closer to $2000 if I recall, but I did have a slight upgrade to it at the time.

I would be interested in having it replaced. Might be interested in other upgrades if they make sense.

I have a Milo and it has been setting in place for a year or so. I now have a new PC and started using it again. I am finding a crackling sound through the headphones when I change volume. I don't notice it when the volume knob is stationary.

This is why I suggest reading reviews from reviewers that share one’s music and sound preferences. They are more likely to match one’s preferences.

I remember when Legend X was the most expensive Empire Ears IEM at $2300. Sadly, there are four that are over $3000. Although Raven isn't even on their site now, I still counted it. That is 44% of all their IEMs are now over $3000. By contrast, 64 Audio and JH Audio only have one over $3000.

Did you mean 15 volt? It isn't rated for 16 volts.

Is the regular Diablo discontinued? I never saw any answer to the question of using regular IEMs with Diablo X since it does not have Echo mode.

I have seen new releases from 64 Audio and competitors and none have moved the needle for me, especially those that command $3000 or more. The Volür is the one that does move that needle and I am really thinking about ordering one. Will these be available for trial by mail like your other models...

My only source right now is Bluetooth, so there is nothing connected to the USB or Coax inputs.

How long does it take for it to start up after turning it on? I have to turn it on or off several times to get it to start. I have waited for 10-20 seconds and nothing. I just leave it on to avoid this issue.

So did the power supply issue get resolved? Is this steady enough on connections now? I am thinking about buying one to AirPlay Apple Music and output it to my iFi One Signature DAC to powered speakers.
