FiiO Hybrid IEMs Discussion & Impressions Thread

These look about the same size as the ones that come with it (the double flange ones) But Ill look into the other Spinfits, I have tried them before with some old Dunu's maybe my ears just need to get used to them, but when I push in a bit sound does sound more 'meaty' Thanks

FiiO Hybrid IEMs Discussion & Impressions Thread

Quick question! just bought a pair of these to take over from my old Shure SE846's I love the sound, but I can't find a good fit, on my Shures I used long triple flange tips as I have deep ear canals. the double flange that comes with the headphones work, but not a tight fit, all the other...

Astell&Kern Launches USB-C Dual DAC Cable

this is great info! Look forward to getting it and trying it out, I listen to a lot of old music, so sometimes the extra detail can pick up flaws in the recording Bit worried about it not being as smooth/low end. then again as long as it's better than built-in DAC, Ill be happy, and the...

Astell&Kern Launches USB-C Dual DAC Cable

Quick question, has anyone compared the PEE51 to the Chord Mojo, love my Mojo, but it's a bit big and needs to be charged, etc, I hardly ever use it. I've ordered a PEE51 as Im more likely to plug it into my Macbook more often to get good sound, but if there's not too much difference I might...

SHURE CUTS THE CORD: RMCE-TW1 / TW2 - THE TRUE WIRELESS THREAD

This explains my issue with it I mention in the post above yours, the problem with there own music player is it crashes for me and trys to play DRM stream files that have been download. and I dont want to put none DRM files in there, my flac player has great EQ for that.

SHURE CUTS THE CORD: RMCE-TW1 / TW2 - THE TRUE WIRELESS THREAD

Had these connected to my SE846's and sound is very good, after the update I found the sound will now sync with my MacBook playing video better using Aptx. You can get a Apple developer thing for Bluetooth and force Aptx instead of AAC, this works for other stuff as well like my Naim Nu-So...

[FiiO BTR15/BTR5 2021/BTR5]Bluetooth DAC and Headphone Amplifier Discussion & Impressions Thread

Thanks for info, my Shanling M0 drives my Shure SE846's very easily and has a great sound, but it is hard to handle, any touching of it in pocket changes something or skips tracks etc when being used as a Bluetooth receiver, so after more simpler device with quality sound, I gave up on tacking...

    Cyrus SoundKey portable DAC

OK, after having a version that fell apart at first. new version I received seem ok so far   First thing I realise, is this USB powered stick can run some good headphones loud, I was going to use it with my SE 846 IEMs, but it runs my B&W p7s with ease.   Sound quality, well it's no Mojo...

    Cyrus SoundKey portable DAC

Hi, Ive emailed Cyrus, but got a away from desk till wed(today) reply, Ive also spoke up about the design flaw on the Kickstarter page, where there are many people with same problems, plus digital ticks when used with iPhones.. looks like a recall to me, at least, product is not fit for purpose...

http://imageshack.com/a/img923/2208/i1KQvU.jpg   After a hour with the soundkey, Ive hit a problem, but good to know if anyone else has had this, but build quality is terrible, I pushed the headphones in and the micro usb cover and whole mother board just popped out the bottom....   oh dear...

    Cyrus SoundKey portable DAC

Got mine in post today, worked with a Micro USB to Lightening adapter I got for my Mojo, so no need for Apple camera kit wire, sound is great so far, and quite a lot more powerful than normal output, was capable of driving my over ears (Nighthawks) at decent volume, and can take my Shure SE 846s...

New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion

Recon I could, with the music Ive listened to in admittedly short time, the soundstage and bass extension on the Mojo is better to my ears, and far more refined, same track on the Dragonfly makes my headphones crackle on same(ish) volume.   Going to do more listening today on iPhone.

New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion

Just received the Dragonfly Red. to be honest was hoping it would be close with my Mojo, so I could use it as main with my SE846 and SRH1540   So far Ive done limited testing, but can say with ease, its not going to replace the Mojo, or even close (to my ears)   Tested with iPhone and...

    Chord Mojo(1) DAC-amp ☆★►FAQ in 3rd post!◄★☆

this is one of my first posts here, but I'm a long time lurker etc, anyway I've literally tried so many headphone and DAC combos, you name it I've probably bought it and tried it. I was convinced after buying the SE846 I had found heaven, so much so that the output from a Macbook pro (which has...
