I was browsing around for information on the VS-series, but then found the 2019 version of GR09 going for $132 shipped, so I bought that instead. Even if VS7 is an upgrade over GR07 (uncertain), I imagine I'm still getting a good deal.

I'm not going to comment on subjective experiences, but they're not even remotely power-hungry. 20ohm input impedance and 99dB sensitivity means you need just 40mW to get them to over 115dB. I don't know any modern output device that can't do 40mW at 20ohm.

Report after 2 weeks of use is good...   The burn-in of the earphones/my ears is going really well... Treble sounds very smooth now without giving up on the sparkle at the top. lower mids are still a bit recessed, so I'm still EQ-ing in software to compensate for that.

Noted. :D   The rest of the burn-in would probably be while actual usage, though. I quite like them now and carry them for my commute/office, so they're a part of my daily usage cycle.

Yes, SW3. The left earbud is barely even operating.     I got a fixed cable version. Didn't know detachable cable was an option at the time I ordered.

My package arrived just 5 minutes ago. I asked Easy to include some foam tips with my order and sure enough he delivered. I have 3 pair foam tips in mine. Not sure if everyone else got foam tips or not.
