Woo Audio WA22 Amp Owner Unite
I actually just picked up a used Gen 1 myself last week. Sounds pretty good with the existing tubes but I was just curious and I'll display my ignorance. It's possible to increase power output by upgrading the two power tubes? For example I read somewhere that using 7236 power tubes would...- corbin1

Woo Audio WA6 + WA6SE: Tubes, Comments, Pictures, and Advice
I did pick up a Gen 1 WA6 SE. So I've ben reading through this and the actual WA6 / WA6 SE thread and am a little confused as to which adpaters would make the most sense to pick up for prospective tube rolling if any. I had almost ordered a couple of the 12A#7 --> 6De7 but fortunately saw the...- corbin1

The Woo Audio 2
I am just curious, has anyone tried the Audeze LCD5 with the WA2? Understood the LCD5 is low impedance but I've seen others mention using low impedance headphones with success. I know IEM's are the real no no. Thanks- corbin1

Woo Audio WA6 + WA6SE: Tubes, Comments, Pictures, and Advice
Condisering buying a WA6 SE either gen 1 or gen 2. If you can pick up a gen 1 for say $150 less than a gen 2 and they are both in excellent shape any compelling reason to buy the gen 2? Understood about tubes not being interchangable but from the chatter it sounds like there is not much sonic...- corbin1

Woo Audio WA6 + WA6SE: Tubes, Comments, Pictures, and Advice
Does anyone know if this adapter 12A#7 —> 6DE7 is still available somewhere to use with the Gen 1 SE? I checked the Ebay seller Xuling Audio Labs and I don't see where he still lists them? Thanks- corbin1

Woo's New Flagship WA33
I was just curious, have there been any changes of signifigance or at all in the WA33 standard edition since it's inception? I'm interested in them, I've seen earlier used ones from around 2019 (not sure when they were released) and then newer used ones that are a year or so old that tend to...- corbin1

Official Sony DMP-Z1 Thread
Thanks, I did not know that as I never tried pairing the 1z before. When I was able to pair the M2 to the DMP it must have been dumb luck. I will try again tonight when I get home from work. I'm trying to use the DMP as the receiver from the 1Z same as with the M2. Thanks!- corbin1

Official Sony DMP-Z1 Thread
I do have one Bluetooth related question after messsing around last night for way too long. Although that's half the fun. I paired my NW-WM1ZM2 to the DMP very quickly as I'd normally expect and it works great as the source. But for the life of me I can't get my NW-WM1Z to pair to the DMP...- corbin1

Official Sony DMP-Z1 Thread
Thanks guys, I didn't think of the help pages, sorry. I've only had it for 4 days, haven't really had as much time to listen or investigate as I'd like. That's great news though. I've read through most of the thread, I'll try not to ask too many newbie questions. I've had a NW-WM1Z for a while...- corbin1

Official Sony DMP-Z1 Thread
Thanks, I do have one other question and I did read through the thread. I plan on using mine via AC for the most part. Understood regarding the DMP charges while plugged in even when in AC mode and understood it's best for battery life to use it in battery mode and let it drain down maybe...- corbin1

Official Sony DMP-Z1 Thread
I did search the thread a bit and don't see an answer anywhere, does anyone have any idea how many in total DMP-Z1's were made? And do most owners do the deoxit thing or is it helpful but not really necessary? Thanks- corbin1

SONY NW-WM1Z M2 / WM1A M2
Quick question. I'm trying to watch / listen to YouTube videos on my NW-WM1ZM2 using it as a DAP plugged into a Woo Tube Mini with my headphones plugged into the 4.4 balanced of the Mini. When I have everything plugged in and the Sony booted up it asked the question about allowing the Woo to...- corbin1

Audeze MM-100
Received mine a couple of weeks ago from pre-ordering in April and I think they are great for what they cost. I've had many Audeze headphones, still own the 5's and 4Z's and to my 68 year old ears to be honest after listening to them for a couple weeks I could live with just these. I'd say...- corbin1

Thanks for the confirmation. In this day and age of Amazon prime and expectations of having anything you order delivered in a day or two I don't mind a bit waiting 3 or 4 weeks. The sense of anticipation will be nice, something to look forward to!- corbin1

Woo Audio TUBE mini Balanced Headphone Amplifier/DAC
Thanks, only thing I'm a little confused about but it doesn't matter is I ordered from Woo and I noticed when I ordered a reference to "next batch shipping in 3 weeks". So I'm assuming that ordering secures you one from that next batch. But not 100% sure that's what it means. If Black was...- corbin1

Woo Audio TUBE mini Balanced Headphone Amplifier/DAC
Well I just went ahead and ordered a black one knowing they can potentially be serviced. Not sure why that was so important, I'm 68, if the tubes last over 5,000 hours I could be gone before they wear out anyway. Just a sustainability thing I guess. Ordered black to match my Lenovo X1 Carbon, I...- corbin1

That's good to know. I'm less concerned with the cost than the option to have the service done assuming it doesn't cost more than a new one... Even if it's half the cost of new. No doubt these are built like a tank so far better than tossing in a dumpster.- corbin1
