  I'm curious to hear your impression on Dana Cable as well. I'm torn between getting DHC and getting Dana Cable for Utopia upgrade.   It would be even better if you could somehow compare Dana Cable to the Zeus cable for your HD800 as I'm currently listening to a Zeus cable modded T1.

  Just want to keep my options open for Ether Flow or Utopia if I end up not liking Ether C Flow.

Nice review! Both Superlux headphones (HD668B and HD681) have sound quality that could compare to +$100 headphone and remain my go-to gift for people who wants to get into the audiophile scenery.

Couldn't go wrong with Schiit.   With that being said, if you want to look for some alternative options, some Chinese companies are known for budget DAC/AMP combo as well. Notably, the previously mentioned audio-gd and Aune (X1S and T1) both have some pretty good entry models.

  Glad that you liked them. Mine is the v1 version and the balanced mod is done by Robert @ Aphrodite Cu29. Personally I feel that balanced T1 has better imaging, wider soundstage and sounds smoother compared to the original single-ended version.
