ZMF November 2020
Much appreciated, Zach. This is helpful as I was under the impression that new stock was returnable, subject to a 10-25% restocking fee. Seems like a b-stock is the best option to try and determine whether it is right for me given the lack of a 15 or 30-day return policy on even new stock.- deucefive

My apologies... I bumped because I missed out Aeolus b-stock last year... and I agree with you otherwise as I am morally scarred from the last few months, having only recently secured a 3090 Strix and AMD 5950X. :) Grateful for the opportunity to purchase but just wanted receive feedback from...- deucefive

Yes, I know -- he responded pretty quickly earlier so I wanted to ask first as I'd like to make a timely purchase and not lose out on a specific b-stock given limited availability. It is understood that he will respond when he is available to do so.- deucefive

Thanks. I'm aware of the said point on the website, but I'd like to hear from Zach directly on the full set of my questions as it pertains to my purchase between b-stock and new stock.- deucefive

ZMF November 2020
Zach, I've heard only the best, and I'd love to pick up an Aeolus. I'd greatly appreciate your feedback on a few questions to inform my purchase. Thanks! B-stock: 1. Are they returnable or exchangeable for a new Aeolus or Atticus within 15 or 30 days? 2. For the Aeolus Sapele, does this mean...- deucefive

HIFIMAN Arya - Arya Stealth - Arya Organic :: Impressions Thread
Hello Hifiman Support, As a prospective buyer of Arya or Ananda, I'd love to hear what you typically do in these cases -- do you typically repair the unit or issue a new replacement? Just asking as it seems there are number of issues reported in the Ananda and Arya thread related to QC. Thanks!- deucefive

Great to hear, @jamieskella -- coincidentally, I'm still on the fence related to same headphones. If you had to start over, would you pick the Arya (over HD800S and Ananda) and a decent DAC/amp (THX 789 + Airist R2R) + external mic (USB or ModMic 5.0), and call it a day as far as gaming and...- deucefive

Announcing the Audeze LCD-GX, the First Audiophile Gaming Headphone
I've used the new Mixamp Pro TR that released this year (PC via USB and Xbox One X via optical), and the LCD GX is fine. It was definitely better on the JDS EL Stack, but definitely usable on Mixamp PRO TR. In fact, I've even used it directly to my Xbox One Elite controller -- and it was fine...- deucefive

Agree -- it is a much smoother and wider sound compared to my LCD2C. What DAC/amp do you pair with it? PC or console, or both?- deucefive

I'm in the 800s but remain optimistic. @theotherjude -- hey, hope you guys are doing well. I recall that you may setup a shipping tracker that would help provide some visibility -- any idea when that might launch? Thanks!- deucefive

Mad Lust Envy's Headphone Gaming Guide: (8/18/2022: iFi GO Blu Review Added)
@Mad Lust Envy - of course -- subjectivity is 'par for the course' with anything in audio -- so I am with you. On that note, it is reassuring to know that Ananda left a differentiated impression on you from that select list, including the LCD GX (which seems to be somewhat comparable to Ananda...- deucefive

@Thenewbie76 I'll let Mad Lust Envy share his perspective. I'm just curious how you found Hifiman X V2 (HEXV2) for gaming as I am debating getting an Ananda, which supposedly is similar to HEXV2 but with less bass. I can't speak about LCD2, but LCD2C is pretty solid for gaming -- imaging...- deucefive

Mad Lust Envy's Headphone Gaming Guide: (8/18/2022: iFi GO Blu Review Added)
@Mad Lust Envy Great to hear. As you recall your experience, would it be fair to say: Ananda > Edition XX > AKG K712 > LCD GX > LCD2C? I appreciate your feedback as your preferences are pretty similar to mine -- I had the same impression of AKG K712 as you (until I had some rattle in right...- deucefive

@jamieskella Thanks so much! Your feedback is definitely appreciated and welcome as I'm debating between Ananda and HD800S. I had planned to use my JDS El Stack for the Ananda (but my EL Amp is giving me issues for my LCD2C, and I probably wouldn't use my Woo Audio WA7D with planars). With...- deucefive

Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread
Hey everyone, Thanks so much for the feedback. Good to know. I currently use my LCD2C with my JDS Labs EL Stack (EL Amp + EL DAC). Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread
Fellow LCD2C Owners, Any recommendations on a balanced cable (including or beside the stock Audeze one for ~$150)? This is my second LCD2C, which surprisingly sounds quite a bit brighter to me than the first one I had. I have paired the LCD2C with JDS EL Stack (EL AMP + EL DAC) and Woo Audio...- deucefive

Announcing the Audeze LCD-GX, the First Audiophile Gaming Headphone
I received my LCD GX last week. Compared to my LCD2C, Mobius and AKG K712 (typically renowned for gaming), I find the sound to be more relaxed, natural and non-fatiguing, yet still somewhat detailed. So far, I've tried the LCD GX with JDS El Stack, Woo Audio WA7D (stock tubes), as well as...- deucefive
