I've been looking for a CD player with digital output, preferably SPDIF/optical. I would like to be able to play CDs, but go through the good DAC that I already own. Does something like this exist, and is it affordable?

I've been using Asunder to rip my CD's to FLAC on my system running Linux Mint 17.1. A lot of the files have been coming out with really bad popping or hissing. Does anybody have any tips or tricks about how to rip their CD's, or does anybody use a different encoder all together that works...
