Personally I dont use any DAC or AMP on se535 or 846 as IMO they are both easy to drive. However I do hear from my friend that Fiio X5 give it a good boost on it's mid range

I saw many post saying SE535 is good at mid-range, and nothing else. Specially it stinks at low range and treble. However for those of you have not got a chance to try on yourself, I have to tell that's not true! Actually after about 2 month listening, I feel SE535 deliver exactly good amount of...
