DITA - The Answer (Truth Edition).
I personally use spinfits with Dita, however the Dita angle and nozzles are a little awkward and short, not to mention the wide pill shape shells. Therefore even with spinfits it's hard for me to achieve a good seal easily with Dita because my ear canals are a little deep. However after...- Skyeriding

WOO-HOOOO... WA7 "fireflies"!!!
Ah, thank you brave soul for the noble attempt! Now I'm even more curious..(all I'm imagining is some wiring to the tubes, a PCB for resistors/caps, and a small output transformer. And of course, the DAC board)- Skyeriding

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
AFAIK the Magni being Class AB; using that architecture to power speakers of a reasonable size (>50W?) in that compact size would mean a Schiit Toaster... Alternatively, it'd come with a (leather?) strap which would fasten onto a fan just for a poorly setup "Schiit-hits-the-fan" joke- Skyeriding

DITA - The Answer (Truth Edition).
For a typical TRS 3.5mm unbalanced headphone, you will have two wires (+,-) per driver joining at the y-split, where the negatives are combined together as common; this results in only three wires from the y-split to the 3.5mm jack. There won't be any reason for a standard TRS 3.5mm to have all...- Skyeriding

DITA - The Answer (Truth Edition).
To be fair (correct me if wrong..), it is not merely just a jack change. With TRRS you now have four running wires instead of three from the jack to the Y-split (TRRS balanced vs TRS unbalanced), so you pay more for the extra material of that extra 4th wire made of silver/mix/whatever. Then...- Skyeriding

DITA - The Answer (Truth Edition).
Just a heads up from my experience to consider: These things take a LONG time to burn in. I don't have golden ears, but I find it really noticeable that sometimes early on the sound keeps changing. I'm probably going to get some backlash from this but its my honest experience. At first I...- Skyeriding

DITA - The Answer (Truth Edition).
Hello, as someone who has used both (from a non-audiophile perspective) I'd say the Ditas (I use The Truth) are really enjoyable to listen to and felt like a great upgrade over the IE80 as dynamic driver IEMs. After getting the opportunity to try them out for a few sessions I was hooked and...- Skyeriding
