Well while the X on paper sounds very effecient , with high sensitivity and low impedance. It still takes quite a bit of juice. However why does it have to be easy to drive vs more power?

If your driver fails under warranty why would you be paying? That’s the price for out of warranty. Driver replacements will be dependent on each headphone.

That's why you lower the source. I run mine with a 4db bass boost w/ 'Lower volume to avoid clipping' on.
