    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

I've been testing the FW1.0.8 and it's improved FW1.0.7 but yet several bugs remain. Cue files no longer work. If you put a cue in a folder with an album image, in this case a dsf image, the Music app won't split the album in separate tracks but will recognize it as a single track. On FW1.0.6...

I'm indecisive between Beyerdynamic, Audeze, Focal, Pioneer, Mr. Speakers, Campfire, Hifiman, etc. but open to any suggestions. I could mention the...

Are the Aeon Flows the best option for classic rock/hard rock/metal?

I remember your post on my earlier thread. Though it was very heplful I wasn't quite sure that the Aeons are well suited for hard rock.

Are the Aeon Flows the best option for classic rock/hard rock/metal?

What about T1? Isn't it good for classic rock and metal?

Are the Aeon Flows the best option for classic rock/hard rock/metal?

Hi, on a recent thread I requested recommendation for the best over-ear headphones to perform rock genres which are the genres I listen to most: classic rock, progressive, hard rock, heavy metal, alternative and indie rock, comtemporary metal. But if possible, performing well too other genres...

iFi iDSD Micro DSD512 / PCM768 DAC and Headphone Amp. Impressions, Reviews and Comments.

It's all up to the volume. You can go deaf on Normal as well if you turn it up too much. But I agree that Normal is enough most times.

iFi iDSD Micro DSD512 / PCM768 DAC and Headphone Amp. Impressions, Reviews and Comments.

I prefer the closed backs too. I'm looking forward to get a pair of cans as great as the iDSD is.

Best Headphones for up to $600/700

I think I should buy one pair of HP for each sound signature, one for energetic genres, the other for the softer ones. The question is the sound sig which I should choose first. Renato Fury, why not to include the DT 1770 in the comparison?

Best Headphones for up to $600/700

It's the only negative review I've read on the Aeon Flow so far which is too weak to be considered.

Best Headphones for up to $600/700

I've been able to find his comments on the Facebook Head-Fi page a couple of months ago in a discussion on a comparison between HD800 with the Aeon Flow. He says he only tested the closed back Aeons finding them "boring" to his ears without further details. Other guy replied to him that he had...

iFi iDSD Micro DSD512 / PCM768 DAC and Headphone Amp. Impressions, Reviews and Comments.

Just for testing purposes, listening to MDR Z7. The volume knob wasn't past 10 o'clock. The iDSD actually turned off before I realized it was on turbo. Btw I'm looking for new headphones for the iDSD. Some people have recommended me the Aeon Flow. I wonder whether they perfom well rock and heavy...

Best Headphones for up to $600/700

I could go up to $800 but not much higher. Not long ago one guy in Facebook criticized one of the versions of Aeon Flow, closed back or open back, I can't remember. He said he didn't like one but the other was ok. I may find his comments in Facebook and tell you.

Best Headphones for up to $600/700

I've only had closed backs or semiclosed, but I'm willing to try open backs if they're suitable for genres of rock. I have MDR 1A, MDR Z7, BeoPlay H9 and especially IEMs, MDR EX1000, FX-1100, MDR H3, FW01, among others. As for the sound signature, I'd like them to perform well hard genres such...

iFi iDSD Micro DSD512 / PCM768 DAC and Headphone Amp. Impressions, Reviews and Comments.

So I did. I tried to play back in both modes with the same result. I knew I had to do that because I read the iFi cardboard manual from the box. I fully charged the iDSD before first use but I had only used it as an amp with a dap. When I was going to play music back with the iDSD connected to...

iFi iDSD Micro DSD512 / PCM768 DAC and Headphone Amp. Impressions, Reviews and Comments.

I've had a little issue with my iDSD Micro BL. I left the device turned on mistakenly for some few days up till the battery fully drained off. I was hard put to reawaken it. When I turned the iDSD on, plugged into my PC, the light would start flickering, alternating green and red light. Then...
