Hi, Do you know if Justin is OK? I’ve been trying to contact him since May (both “personal” mail and support mail) and never answered. Probably more than 10 emails…. I have a 1,5 year old Blue Hawaii (I had another one years ago) and I need technical help. Thanks- gusGGG

The Astell & Kern AK240
Thank you for the answers!! Burtomr, I thought about it, but I think i prefer to invest in an additional amp that I could use with aother DAP in the future. Bflat, I´m sure the RSA SR-71B amp is a great option! But, does it produce some hiss with the Shure 846? Warrior1975, does the...- gusGGG

Brand Spanking New A&K AK120II and AK100II
Ok, I see, thank you. It´s a pity because if I have to add another component to the rig it´s not as portable as I want. What portable amp do you recommend me to drive the HD800? Thank you very much.- gusGGG

Planning on getting hd 800 what to buy with it?
I think tube amps make a good combination with the HD800. A "cheap" option could be an Icon Audio HP8 MKII, a little beast that gives the HD800 more body and a fantastic bass. And in the future you can upgrade it with Jensen or Mundorf Silver Gold Oils caps and Full Music tubes, for example. ...- gusGGG

Brand Spanking New A&K AK120II and AK100II
High-fidelity, I don't understand your answer at all. When you said "...use AK120 with a great amp....", you mean that I would have to add an amp to the AK120 to drive properly the HD800? Or you mean that I could use the AK120 directly with the HD800?- gusGGG

Brand Spanking New A&K AK120II and AK100II
Hi, I want to buy a portable player and I can't decide between the DX90 or a A&K AK120. I haven't tried any of those. How do you think they drive the HD800? And the LCD-X? Thank you.- gusGGG

The Stax SR-507 Thread
I agree with you, I would find more improvement in a headphone change. But I think the 009 are not just a bit better compared to 507, I don't hope so.....The 009 are a few times more expensive than the 507.....- gusGGG

The (new) HD800 Impressions Thread
Hi, I had a pair of HD800 months ago and I tried with different amps and I finally I bought a Leben CS300XS which I recapped (with Mundorf Silver Gold Oil) and retubed (with Genalex Gold Lion). In my opinion, is one of the best combination you can heard. The body and textures you get are...- gusGGG

STAX SR 507, 407, 307, 207
Hi guys from Spain, I have a pair of 507 and I tried the 307 before. The 507 are much better than the 307 in everything: scene, clarity, details, bass punch, highs more controled, etc. And they have better quality materials. Regards- gusGGG
