I tried them out of 4 different amps, the Magni Piety, Jot 2, Ibasso DX300 using the AMP12EX module, and my friend's Bottlehead Mainline after we finished building it, all to a similar result with the exception of the Piety and Mainline. Those were better but not by leagues or anything

Mine is the Focal Clear Mg. They don't sound "bad" per se, just somewhat boring and average. Are they better than my Elex? Sure, but only marginally. When I put them up against anything else I own in their weight class, they just don't hold up. The soundstage is small, the imaging is lackluster...

Okay so I was able to repeat the test using the last Android 9 firmware and I got the exact same results: AMP11 and 13 are rated accurately, AMP12 maxes out at 3.017Vrms per channel through PO, and AMP14 maxes out at 1.307Vrms per channel through LO, and 0.470Vrms per channel through PO

Yup, I thought this might be the case but the bandwidth for my multimeter goes from 1Hz to 500kHz and it does accurately report the frequency when I turn it to that setting. And it's no problem! I'm a big tinkerer lol I'm sure I'll figure out how to build custom ROMs for this eventually haha

I've tested the AMP12 and got 6.015 per channel, even, which is below the stated power but consistent with some other sources, however sparse, I've found. The 11 and 13 reach their stated voltages +/- 5% I've found, so they're rated pretty accurately

My second test pulls 1.341 Vrms left and 1.303 Vrms right on LO, and 0.46 Vrms even per channel on PO

I'm on Android 11, latest FW. Yeah, it's really a shame, it just kinda sits here collecting dust. I like AMP12 enough that I don't feel like I got ripped off, and I have my bottlehead crack if I want some tube warmth, but I definitely think Ibasso should at least make an announcement about it.

On paper, yes, but to my ears (and multimeter) no. At least on the DX 300, AMP14 does not reach the stated voltage numbers, maxing out at around 1.3V per channel using line out, and a little more than half a volt per channel using PO on high gain. I'm not the only one to point this out either...

It works great with my Atrium Closed, I can even run it in low gain on some songs. It's my work combo lol! I definitely recommend getting the AMP 12 for the Caldera though. The Verité will be fine with the stock Amp 11. Also, see if you can find an @Whitigir modded AMP12 like the AMP12W or...
