Right angle 30pin to 3.5mm adapters are getting scarce. Fiio used to make one but that’s been discontinued. Xduoo still makes one but it’s hard to find. I bought some a few years ago but they're no longer listed on that website. You could always use the longer ones that aren't right angle from...- morefilling

I believe a bad hard drive could cause multiple issues, including what you describe. OF has a way to check the health of the hard drive. Opening the classic is hard. I use the the 5.5 & iSesmo is my favorite tool. I have metal guitar picks but they are too short for my liking. I've used plastic...- morefilling

Perhaps why I still mainly use my iPods is because I don't stream music. I have about 1TB of music of varying genres and don't feel the need to pay to stream. I also don't regularly buy new music. Every few months I'll update the iPods with whatever I did buy. It can be a bit of a hassle because...- morefilling

I’m afraid I may not be much help in amp selection. I have electric avenues' pa2v2 and topping’s nx3s. I like them both but neither seems to be made anymore. I looked briefly at new amps. Seems most of the big brand amps are DAC amps so you’d be paying for something you wouldn’t use with the...- morefilling

I have a few pairs of headphones/iems. I don't feel like any of them are particularly suited or not suited to the ipod. I'd use what you like. I use amps with my ipods. Even at lower volumes, I prefer the sound with the amp. My amps all cost less than $100 each.- morefilling

I recently had a catastrophic failure while trying to update Rockbox on my 2 terapods causing me to wipe & re-load both. They have Tarkan’s adapters. One is a Quad with (2) Samsung 512gb U3 cards. The other is a Dual with (2) PNY 512gb U3 cards. The Quad had transfer speeds about 7.5MB/sec & I...- morefilling

For what its worth, Tarkan recommends always putting the fastest card in slot 1. I wonder if the older cards aren't mixing well with the newer cards (but Tarkan does say you can mix and match cards). You could try leaving out the older card & see if that fixes the problem.- morefilling

By 2 versions, I meant the official 3.15 release and the most recent development build. Originally, EH-Yeon said, "I updated to beta version of rockbox, they are more stable compared to 3.15 for quad sd i flash". I never use Rockbox when writing to the iPod. Does it matter if I use 3.15 or the...- morefilling

The quad adapter from idemigods seems to be Tarkan's. They said it was & it looks exactly the same. FYI, if ordering from US or Canada, it will be cheaper & get to you much faster than ordering from iflash. The 3000mah battery they sell is close to the same size but slightly thinner than the one...- morefilling
