is buying a used pair for 60-70 a bad deal?

Im hearing both are sortof hard to drive from a portable device, and that need modding to get a good sound, (dont have money for the mods). Any other suggestions? how do the ProDJ100 compare to the Samson sr850? Also how about HARX700 vs ProDJ100?

I listen to nearly anything, I'd like a pair of cans that offer Soundstage, bass, mids, and highs. The source driving them will be my phone (Atrix 2), consider that. I can care less about aesthetics, or design (open back, semi, closed) Currently considering the following: KSC75 ProDJ100...

Im looking for a cheap dac for my GALAXY S4 (US VARIANT), Internal dac sounds pretty bad, my Motorola Atrix 2 sounds better. If i do get a dac will i still be able to use both a USB and the DAC at the same time?

im still baffled so do all Note II variants have Wolfson DACS

well my atrix 2 has an excellent DAC but the phone is getting old I heard the LG G2 has good SQ output
