Update Alpha Primes delivered!!:   I'm no audio guru so no fancy review here.   Summery:   I'm speechless!! The sounds coming of of these things is just unreal.  I have owned Boss/Beat and then  Beyerdynamic MMX300 and I thought they sounded Amazing.  I now know a whole new level of music...

I'm expecting my AD within the next few hours.  I'm going to connect to a Beyerdynamic Headzone H1 that's currently connected via optical to my PC's on-board sound card.  I have a Creative Zxr sound card I can install also. Does it matter?

additional question: Currently the Beyerdynamic Headzone H1is connected to the onboard Audio via Optical Cable.  I have a Creative Sound Blaster ZxR would it be worth it to use that over the Optical?

I can't tell you how it sounds I have no idea what you guys are talking about when you describe how they sound     sample:  They sound slightly puffy with a hint of bang and a roughness that I like.. :)

Can anyone tell me if the Beyerdynamic Headzone and MMX300 is a good combo for FPS gaming only   also I have an Asus R4E motherboard will the onboard Audio's Optical out to the  Beyerdynamic headzone be ok?
