I've got a request.  Can someone take/find a picture of the white ATH-M50s with black ear pads? I need to replace my ear pads but I can't seem to find cheap white ATH-M50 ear pads. If the black ear pads look fine on the white headphones I'll probably buy them instead.

I'm planning on buying a DAC/Amp. Would the Schiit Magni/Modi be good for the HE-400s?

Well my budget's changed since I've acquired an amp.   I can spend $400-$500 for a pair of headphones + DAC.  I've been looking at the  AKG K712 Pro Hifiman HE-400 but I'm open to all suggestions.
