The iPod Mini is the best all around player on the market IMHO when one considers size, style, ease of use, durability, and sound. It's an easy choice.

Yes, Apple's AIFF format is basically a WAV file with information. At 10 GB, figure about 15 -20 CDs. Not much. If you want lossless, look at the Rio Karma 20 GB which plays FLAC lossless files which are at about 60% the size of a WAV file. Figure 60-60 CDs on the Karma.
