I'm also quite curious about the SE8. There doesn't seem to be any reviews of it. But it looks like it has quite an interesting configuration (6 BA + 2 EST, four-way configuration) and the graph looks like it would have substantial bass even if it's not using a DD.

That’s too bad. The huge dip after 5khz might have really sucked the brightness and air out of them. You might have better luck with the upcoming GD3C or the GD5.
