Modhouse Audio Argon - T50RP MK2/3 & T60RP
I ordered a pair of Xenon sheepskins I should receive them tomorrow. Currently, my pair of T60 Argons have Brainwavz angled sheepskins which I really enjoyed but changes are always fun.- big45-70

Modhouse Audio Argon - T50RP MK2/3 & T60RP
My T60 Argons have some kind of secret sauce in them I swear. The just sound perfect, like there are no compromises. I've had them since march and I look at other headphones every once in awhile because I do enjoy researching and purchasing. The trouble is the money you have to spend for a...- big45-70

Modhouse Audio Argon - T50RP MK2/3 & T60RP
Your not going to kill the detail with pads, my t60's had a very thick mid range and low end but the sparkle is still there right where you want it. I would only purchase them if you enjoy experimenting and not because you will be unhappy with your choice. I actually used mine with the stock...- big45-70

Raspberry Pi's are an underrated source.
I can honestly say I have had no issue, I mainly use my dragonfly black with my pi so I'm using 24/96.- big45-70

Raspberry Pi's are an underrated source.
Over the last few weeks I'd been playing with my Raspi 3 and Volumio and man it is a great little source. Every USB DAC I had plugged in has worked perfectly and being able to edit your playlist with any device you happen to have in front of you is a really nice convenience factor. The setup I...- big45-70

Modhouse Audio Argon - T50RP MK2/3 & T60RP
I use a liquid spark and it drives them well, its 1.3watts at 50 ohms. I would think as long as you are able to push over a watt into them you should be good. I have a schitt hersey and its 1.6watts at 50 ohms only because I need two small amps due to my job and the amount of travel time...- big45-70

Monoprice Monolith Liquid Spark - By Alex Cavalli
I've been looking to pick up another power supply. I travel often and have been taking my spark with me because of its compact size, the only issue is I have to mess with my pc's cable management every time I go I take it. Anyone have any luck tracking down a second power supply for the spark?- big45-70

HiFiBerry?
I've been playing around with a Raspberry pi 3 and Volumio the last week or so. I'm not using a Pi Hat because I had a few usb DAC's laying around. It seems to work with about any dac I have tried and easily detects them. I really like it and will make a nice on/offline music server at the...- big45-70

Streaming music from NAS to Foobar
As a WFH project I picked up an old PC (literally off the road) and scavenged some parts and put together a working pc with an i5, 8gigs of ram and old video card. The only thing I needed to purchased here the hard drives (2 X 3TB WD Greens) I've since moved all my media over and am running a...- big45-70

So I picked up a cheap balanced cable of ebay for my T60RP Argon's and as soon as I plugged it in the music sounded very hollow. I then did a small channel test and it appears when I'm using a balanced cable I loose stereo sound and what should be coming through only left or right is always...- big45-70

expensive cables are worth it if they look good IMO. Whether they sound better or not, I have no problem admitting for me cables are all about aesthetics.:L3000:- big45-70
