mac mini+ visualbox xp+footbar2000 +fiio 10+tannoy/dt770 pro 80ohm=really high quality
To connect the pair of passive speaker, you may still need some cable: e10 has po and lo. I actually has an extra phillip integrated player (don't know the internal structure of it, but should have an amp in it. I connect the e10's po with phillip's mp3-link/aux in.)- kiddyluo

Novo go with grado gr10 and dt770 pro(80ohm)
Thanks. Yeah, E10 is a DAC with integrated amp and also has unamped line-out. But you think Novo will give a noticeable improvement over e10? Best,- kiddyluo

Novo go with grado gr10 and dt770 pro(80ohm)
Hi, I need some help on the decision of whether to amp the gr10 and dt770pro. They are both low impedance cans, and sound not bad directly with cowon d20 and mac with fiio e10. Since they are also quite high quality stuff, I'm wondering if they need amp to reach the full potential. ...- kiddyluo

dt770 pro (80), Grado GR10 and Novo
Yeah, using gr10 directly with cowon d20, I found the vocal and acoustic really impressive already. very transparent and detailed in mid and tremble. However, a bit tiring for long time listening. dt770pro on the other hand is more comfortable, and detailed still. as a headphone, dt770pro...- kiddyluo

dt770 pro (80), Grado GR10 and Novo
Especially GR10, the opinion on whether an amp is needed diverges. Some say good enough without amp, some say an amp will truly fulfill the potential of the little green bee.. Anyone who tried a pair both with and without decent amp can give some advice?- kiddyluo

Graham Slee Novo, grado gr10 and dt770 pro(80)
Hi, I'm wondering if the low impedance (32om) Grado gr10 needs and amplifier. I'm considering Graham Slee Novo. Any related information is welcome. Also, I got a pair of dt770 pro 80 om. Will Novo improve on these two cans? Thanks very much for all informative advice.- kiddyluo
