this whole thing is just too unacceptable for such a machine.  sold it and bought an x5 instead...less soundstage but more solid...whatever...just can't bare the fade ins and outs...

So I have a problem with tracks blacking out at around 0:05 to 0:07 for no reason randomly...anyone else have this problem? Music just goes mute then comes back on after 2 seconds. Doesn't happen all the time, but enough to piss me off...please help.

mp3tag doesn't read wav files no?  even if it does, i still have to type the track numbers one by one to each title?

My dx90 isn't able to do normal play mode by just playing songs according to their track number.  Instead, normal play mode means the device will play according to the track title (not the track name).  Please let me know if this is normal or if there is anything i can do...  I have wav files...

Hmm...never though of that reducing the speed for a better rip....so where do i set the secure mode? it is available in dbpoweramp right? thanks for your help by the way.

So I ripped my cds with dbpoweramp and usually, either the first or last song will always have a few scratchy lines...its staticky, distorted or scratchy...however u call them...they aren there when I play the cd though...any ideas guys? Please help...
