New Sony Walkman NW-A300 Series (Android 12)
Apologies if this had been asked. I’ve just taken delivery of a Japanese a307, how do I change the language to English please? To be clear this is a pre owned unit - I’m looking at a settings menu that’s in Japanese Edit - solved. PM me if you need help.- milesjunkie

Streaming on the go: sound quality DAP via wifi vs phone via Bluetooth dac/amp
Interested in the “why” here as well as the opinions. What will give me better SQ for streaming Spotify or Qobuz on the go? 1. iPhone into a decent Bluetooth dac/amp (radsone es100) 2. Android based DAP (AK SR25 / Shanling M3U, Sony A307) running off wifi Assume headphones are Oppp PM3 with...- milesjunkie

Marantz HD-DAC1 and iPod classic 80gb
Dig out my old iPod classic with the view of playing it through the front usb port on the DAC1. Manual says it’s supported. The DAC1 definitely recognises the iPod but these things happen 1. The Marantz logo comes up on the LCD display of the ipod 2. The track name and time appears in the...- milesjunkie

Shanling M0 - Smallest Hi-Res Portable Player - New Firmware V3.6
Hi @Shanling I'm trying to get the eddict player iOS app playing nice with my m0. When I do the steps as described on the website and then open synclink in the app on my iPhone, I don't get the option of client/server like I do on an android phone. I just get the screen with connected devices...- milesjunkie

Shanling m0 - Bluetooth and Battery Issues post FW3.4 update
I haven't reached out to Shanling on this yet. m0 was working flawlessly. I often use it as a BT transport in the car (old car) since my ES100 died suddenly. Since FW3.4: - tiny volume coming through when used as BT transport, even when volume on the m0 is fixed at 100 and high gain mode -...- milesjunkie

Weirdly when I scanned your post I read “pornography” for “photography” and put together with the whole idea of swapping out parts to wonder where you were going with it.- milesjunkie

Ryuzoh mod renders the 300 dead quiet according to the dude who recommended it to me. I don’t have anything particularly sensitive and have no “before” frame of reference. But for me it’s completely black.- milesjunkie

I had the Hiby R6, that drove HD650 just fine. I haven’t heard the Pro update but it’s probably more refined and definitely more powerful if you need that.- milesjunkie
