A great option is the Bowers and Wilkins P5. I traded some QC15s for these. Much better sound quality and noise cancellation nearing the Bose without the active noise cancellation pressure I felt with the QC15. Very compact and elegant design. Warm sounding. Go demo them at magnolia at Best Buy

Thanks, just checked and I have the right number of components for both the A and 7. Also, since I know I bought it around 1985, I assume the counterfeits were made later?
