Just to throw it out there what about the ath ws99? I've head they are similar to the v modas in that they have great, but less bass while also having awesome mids and highs.

Unfortunately I couldn't find a discounted pair of kefs :( I only found them at 300 unlike the m100 and ws99. Considering I listen to country music more than hip hop/rap   which phone has more focus/better mids and highs (ws99 or m100)?

Having tried the Bose ie2 I can say I personally liked them but they did have bloated bass whereas everyone seems to love the klipsch s4 even though it does have good amount of bass it doesn't ruin other aspects of the sound. I would go with the klipsch s4

Also I forgot to add I'm searching for great bass that extends low and rumbles (when called for) warm mids and just great clarity overall. Lastly I really want to feel immersed in the music as if I was at the concert sitting front row I think that's soundstage but not sure.
