joining the head ache club. got the pro's and getting vicious headaches which come on quick with wear and then last a long time (probs' made worse by some new meds i'm on to). Headache is right at the top of the head in the middle - pretty much where the band sits. time to stretch these.

resolved, it was power adaptor, returned to vendor who tested it and replaced plug, working fine now

It does yes. Will buy cheap cable and try that possibly. At least I can then see if the amp functions as a stand alone. If it does though then I have no idea why the amp and DAC are not working together. The mac is fine. I just meant the re. Power I have tried plugging in to extension cable and...

Hi everyone Thanks to the kind advice from all on here picked up 880 pro 250 plus magni modi combo. Works great for pure listening I.e anything played in iTunes, but I'm just not getting power when using Ableton. E.g master out on Ableton is at 0, but volume/gain on the DAC is at max...

any opinions on the audioengine D1 24 bit. It's a DAC and amp in one small unit so that appeals and has a couple of good reviews on amazon from people in similar situations (producers on MBP, with 250 880s). This one...  ...
