I'm really between the RTi A3/A1s and the HSU speakers. With the Polks I get a 5 year warranty, a larger brand with amazing customer service and very solid speakers. With the HSU speakers I get a 7 year warranty with customer service that nobody has really commented on and great speakers. I know...

So I was thinking, maybe I'll go with the HSU HB-1 mk2 with no sub for a year then add a HSU sub. The HSU speakers are a bit more compact and easy to drive.

Should I buy the subwoofer for the bose? I will have Sennheiser Momentums for music, so movies the the far bigger deal. My main concern was the TV I was buying has god awful speakers.

So would the Rti-A3 be limited in a smaller dorm. I can get a pair on Polk Direct Ebay for $285. I do have a pair of Bose Companion 2 series 2 speakers that I got as a gift. Should I wait and upgrade next year? Also is the DSWpro550wi good for $299?

Space might be an issue. It really depends on my roommate and what he brings. Also these won't be computer speakers. They will be for my TV and mp3 player.
