Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)

TBH, I recently rejoined Head-Fi after a 5 years hiatus and the Raven is my first pair of iem since then. I still recall purchasing the FitEar 335 CM for less than $1500 before. However, I have noticed that the cost-to-performance ratio on Head-Fi has changed significantly since then. Good...

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)

I want to clarify that I am not trying to blame anyone for the issue at hand, EE also promised to repair it. It's not just me who is facing this, and it's not limited to a particular brand. Another user has also reported the same problem in a post, and even some users in my area have faced this...

The point is that I didn't anticipate the tightness of the sockets, some cables are fine (PW stock cable), but some (e.g. code 24) come loose when plugged in, without any resistance

Yes, I was changing to code 24c when the iem fell to the ground. It seems like EE only changed the socket and not the shell. I'm pretty sure that the new socket is larger than 0.78.

This is not true because another problem has arisen. The current 2-pin female chassis is very loose, so the iem can easily fall! That's why I broke my Raven.
