what would be your opinions on ath m50's or v-moda crossfade lp's compared to these headphones?  good sound or just gimmicky stylish headphones?

I'm considering buying a new pair of headphones but am not sure what to go with. I'm aiming for $100-200. I want closed back but noise canceling isn't necessary.  I listen to mostly electronic music, especially dubstep so something with good powerful bass is best.  Durability has been a problem...
