I have the KZ PR2 incoming, it seems to need power at 94dB / 15ohm. And thats actually the main reason for buying it. I wanted something hard to drive for my desktop amps and tubes. As my S12 Pro responded very well to ZDT Jr so continuing on that power to planars journey :smile:

The drain wire and or shield is usually connected to the ground at source (wall power socket) end only, in many or most power cables. Supra does this in their newer revision of Lorad cables. My Preffair D503 /Audiocrast P101 (Krell cryo 156 fake) was wired liked that. And I did it in my DIY P902...

The sound you can get from IEMs these days with a matched source/amp chain is just.... spectacular. Ikko OH10 amped by JDS Labs Atom, DAC Hegel HD12. Not much volume play just above the volume pot early channel imbalance. But mmm the sound 🎶💣
