EHHA Rev A - Interest Thread
I doubt that the e12 is giving you problems, more likely the right channel needs re-adjustment. I no longer have the specs on the amp, but adjusting to specification should solve your problem. If the e12 is still acting up, then re-adjust it according to AMB's web site. Wouldn't hurt to check...- muskyhuntr

EHHA Rev A - Interest Thread
I used a SUMR transformer in my build. Spec'd shielded, potted and encapsulated. My build was quite. I did not follow recommended grounding configurations. Check some of my prior posts to see what I did. Sold the amp a few years back to fund other projects, so I cant pop the lid. Me- muskyhuntr

Post pics of your builds....
Great work, looks good! I love mine. I tried to get Bruce to release a set of boards to make this amp available to others, but to no avail. The problem with the EHHA was that it was designed by committee. As such, there were about a thousand ways to ground the amp. Some worked in in a few...- muskyhuntr

Starving Student PCB's
Hard to tell without pictures and other info, but sounds like a grounding problem. From your description, one possible cause is that the pot case is not grounded. Check that input wiring is away from AC. Twist input wiring. Me- muskyhuntr

Where are all of the builders?
There is a group buy forming at the other place. OP is asking for suggestions on which boards to have made. The OP just finished another group buy, in which I participated, and did an excellent job. Me- muskyhuntr

Senn HD600 amp suggestions
The boards were done in and by PCB Express. Unfortunately, a computer crash cost me those files some time ago. VIXR may still have his though. Me- muskyhuntr

Where are all of the builders?
Did a joint build with VIXR a few years back, We collaborated on a couple of boards for a Bruce Heran design, the HeadWatt. I consider it one of my best amps. Don't see that happening on this site. Me- muskyhuntr

Where are all of the builders?
I don't know that DIY as a whole is dead, but it certainly is dead here! And mostly, as AMB says is because of the restrictions. There are other sites where the DIY community seems to be alive and well though. AMB's, DIYAudio, DIY Audio projects, and Dr. Gilmore's (can't name the site because...- muskyhuntr

Senn HD600 amp suggestions
Take a look at the Head Watt. http://diyaudioprojects.com/Tubes/6DJ8-Tube-Headphone-Amp/ I built one a few years ago and like it a lot. Fairly simple. Also, look at AMB's amps. http://www.amb.org/forum/. I have built them all and they all sound great. Self Plug: I have a fully populated...- muskyhuntr

Changing gain for Beta22
Hi, Lets see, assuming your current B22 is working, it would cost about $4.00 in parts plus shipping to change the gain on your current boards. Just a guess, but I wouldn't be surprised if having 2 new boards built by someone else would run about 4-500 hundred dollars including labor but...- muskyhuntr

DIY Portable DAC/Amp?
I'm in the process of building my own, so I can't comment personally but reviews by other builders have been very positive. I have built other AMB projects before and all of them have turned out stellar. Support on the AMB forum is also first class. Me- muskyhuntr

The lettering on both the front and rear panel was done by Front Panel Express, who also did the metal work. The LED is connected to the power input at the switch. You can barely see where the resistor is on the right. It is covered in shrink wrap. Me- muskyhuntr

Post pics of your builds....
Your amp looks great! A couple quick and easy's you might try is to twist all of your AC wiring. Also, your AC wiring for the heater supply on the right (?) channel seems pretty close to your input wiring, though the wiring there does appear to be shielded. I received the front and rear...- muskyhuntr
