    Durable, small housing IEM?

Thanks for the suggestion - but I believe this will have the same problem as most of the large-driver IEMs insofar as it will press against my outer ear, unfortunately!

    Durable, small housing IEM?

Good recommendation - I do have a couple pairs, though their durability was on the low side in my experience (one side, I want to say right?, failed pretty quickly on both). Still, it might be worth giving another go!

    Durable, small housing IEM?

Hey all! I’ve been hunting for decent sounding, sub-$80 IEMs that are durable, have small housing, and preferably have an in-line mic. Unfortunately, I seem unable to participate in the joy of all the fantastically cheap and impressive IEMs of late because my outer ear is not shaped compatibly...

Audio Technica updates their open headphones "AD" Series: AD2000x, AD1000x, AD900x, AD700x and AD500x

Quote:   I posted earlier that I confirmed with AT-US that if you buy a Japanese pair of AD900X's, the warranty is only valid for Japan...Sooo, you'll need to ship them back to Japan or pay for the repairs yourself.   (AD900X is already available in select places in the US, though...

Audio Technica updates their open headphones "AD" Series: AD2000x, AD1000x, AD900x, AD700x and AD500x

Quote:   Just wanted to give an "official" update I got after contacting ATUS by email, where I asked: 1. when they would be officially available in the US, and 2. if I could service with ATUS if I purchased internationally:   Quote ATUS:   While this hopefully won't really...

Audio Technica updates their open headphones "AD" Series: AD2000x, AD1000x, AD900x, AD700x and AD500x

The only thing I'm concerned about (potentially) is warranty and the like... Seems like it'd be pricey to ship it back to Japan for that if required? But I assume you're right - it'll be $300 for a few weeks at least (while they clear out AD900 stock) before maybe dropping down to ~$250 or...

Audio Technica updates their open headphones "AD" Series: AD2000x, AD1000x, AD900x, AD700x and AD500x

The good news is that the Yen is finally starting to dive back down again (i.e., depreciate against the dollar), so Japanese imports should be somewhat cheaper...! Maybe?

Audio Technica updates their open headphones "AD" Series: AD2000x, AD1000x, AD900x, AD700x and AD500x

FYI, from what I've read, AudioCubes claims the items available at their store, AC Gears, is listed on www.acgears.com. A quick search shows they're not (yet?) available there, but it might be worth checking up as time goes on.

Audio Technica updates their open headphones "AD" Series: AD2000x, AD1000x, AD900x, AD700x and AD500x

I'm in the US and need a new pair of headphones one of these days, and I'm trying to decide if I should hold out for the AD900X or not. (Yes, yes, I know. The right answer is "Buy something now and buy these when they reach the states.")   I figured I'd check on the eternal question for the...
